Constructing standard learning outcomes with high demands is an important innovative content in the education and training at Lac Hong iniversity. The knowledge and career skills equipped for students before they graduate from university are clearly stated. However, a big question arises "How can teaching disciplines in the fields of basic science and general knowledge meet the standard learning outcomes?". Based on the analysis of the current situation of teaching of Probability – Statistics course at school, the authors have pointed out some measures to form career skills of economic-majored students, which aim at teaching this subject in order to meet the built standard learning outcomes, such as: problem solving, self-learning, application of information technology, algorithm-like thinking, gathering, representing and processing statistic numbers, etc.
