Energy loss of alpha particles in energy region 4.788 ÷ 5.795 MeV and of 22Mg radioactive ions at 25.894 MeV in the gas of He+CO2 (10%) was measured. The alpha particles were emit- ted from a thin triple alpha-source including 237Np (4.788 MeV), 241Am (5.486 MeV) and 244Cm (5.795 MeV) with 350 Bq of intensity. The 22Mg radioactive ion (RI) beam was produced via 3He(20Ne,22Mg)n reaction. The experiment was performed at NuclearStudyCenter of the Uni- versity of Tokyo, Japan, by using CRIB spectrometer. This paper reports the experimental data of energy loss measurement of these isotopes in the mixed gas He+CO2(10%). A comparision of the empirical results and the calculation by using computer codes SRIM2008, ATIMA and F.Hubert’s theoretical data is also pointed out. The final results show that there are some differ- ences between the theoretical results and the experimental ones. Therefore, we need to concern modifying when we use such computer codes
