Abstract

The coagulation / Flocculation process using Fe(III) with Chitosan, Polyacrilamide and Praestol2515 as flocculants was conducted in a number of  experiments by jar test. The obtained results indicated that using Fe(III) as a coagulant not only effectively removed COD and turbidity but could also reduce heavy metal ion concentration from industrial wastewater to meet environmental standards
