Abstract

The waster water from clinic center has been strongly negative affected to human life in large area. The disadvantages of the currently treatment system are low treatment efficiency, costly and unstable due to using microbiological, biochemistrial, combining physical chemistry method, or advanced oxidation process. In this study, the novel treatment hostpital waster warter system using plasma at low temperature and at atmostpheric pressure was designed and developed to solve the above
disadvantages. Waster water from the three clinic centers Long Binh, Y Đuc, and Sai Gon Lab were used and the density of BOD5 , COD, Nitrat, Phosphat, Coliforms were tested inResearch Institute of Biotechnology and Environment and Center of Environmental Engineering and Teachnology. Input voltage, current and treatmenttime were used for analytic the treatment efficiency. The results show that treatment efficiency of COD5 , COD, Phosphat, NO3 - and coliforms are 54%, 51%, 50%, 60%, and 99,9%, respectivity. With input voltage, current and treatment time are 30KV, 4A, and 0.12s, respectivity, the treatment efficiency is about 30% and reach to B- QCVN 28:2010 standard at 0.7s.
