Outcome-Based Education (OBE) is one of the effective methods that are used for developing study programme. This approach has four key concepts and principles which are focus on competencies or learning outcomes, backward curriculum design, constructive alignment and creates learning opportunities for learners. While applying this approach to the study programme development process, Nong Lam University – Ho Chi Minh City has a chance to review and strengthen its internal quality framework with feasible solutions for strategic planning. This paper aims to share the experience which is gained during the study programme development process at Nong Lam University as a case study of applying OBE.
