Abstract

This paper proposes a modulation strategy for multilevel inverters, which selects voltage vectors that generate minimum commom mode voltage in the load, working at low switching frequency. The total harmonic distortion, the number of commutations and the linearity are also studied. Experimental results confirm that the proposed method is the simplest, highly effective and highly suited inverters with a every number of levels.
