Abstract

Automatically extract landmarks on human body from 2D images is one of the effective techniques
to support the body size of the indirect method of measurement. With this paper, we introduce the
method of determining the landmark from the edge of the body extracted from 2D images of the
front and side. With 33 markers measured at the front and 29 markers measured from the side
results are extracted automatically that can be applied to anthropometric garment. Results are
evaluated by means of comparison between the experimental landmarks determined by the direct
method and software.
