Abstract

In the 4.0 era, the explosion and rapid development of technology have affected all areas of life, including the field of education. This impact is inevitable, especially to higher education. In this context, higher education institutions need to have a roadmap to adjust the educational ecosystem in order to uphold their survival and development. Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) is, in line with the common trend of education, necessary to restructure its educational ecosystem to adapt to emerging requirements. By analyzing the educational context in the 4.0 era, the requirements of educational technology, educational ecosystem and the role of lecturers in the new era, this article presents the UTE 4.0 educational ecosystem at HCMUTE and proposes a feasible instructional design model to gradually apply UTEx as an e-learning part of UTE 4.0 ecosystem into practice.
