Abstract

This paper presents the results of a study on the small engine dynamometer, using for motorcycle engines. The load is a magnetic brake that has linear slide, which allows changing the engine torque for every test mode. The engine torque is measured by loadcell and displayed on computer interface via LabVIEW through an NI data acquisition card. The results contribute to motorcycle engine improvement research and reduction of fuel consumption and environmental pollution.
