Research of applying collision warning technology on vehicles

This article presents the result of research on the impact of collision warning technology on driver's driving behavior through a survey conducted with 3 independent drivers driving vehicles with collision warning devices. The data analysis process demonstrates that the warning system helps drivers get better driving behavior by keeping a safe distance from the vehicle ahead, as well as improving right lane driving. In terms of safety, the reduction of Headway Monitoring Warning (HMW) shows the collision limitation can be with the vehicle ahead and clearly demonstrates the safety improvement of the driver through the use of the system.
