Abstract

The factors affecting the air temperature after the condenser with auxiliary cooling using fired bricks sprinklered based on the experimental investigation of the difference in air temperature before and after the condenser was investigated in this study. In order to make comments, and evaluate the operating status of the equipment, the best solutions can be given in operation, maintenance, equipment upgrading, and energy saving. Using robust design methods, reputable statistical tests are Taguchi and ANOVA together with 3D modeling support software (INVENTOR) and numerical and statistical computing software (MINITAB). From there, proceed to build a condenser model, experiment, and process data. After performing experiments and testing by statistical methods, the optimal model results for the room temperature field to be cooled are A1B1C1D1E1F2 (position of A1 fired bricks (horizontal bricks), material structure data B1 (2-hole fired bricks), set temperature at evaporator C1 (22), time of day D1 (measurement option at noon), the distance between bricks E1 (5cm apart), F2 brick arrangement (parallel) is the best combination for the ability to cool the air after the condenser. The difference in air temperature before and after leaving the condenser is ΔT=6.1, with the temperature before and after exiting the device being 34,65; 28,55, respectively. Which, the brick arrangement specification factor (F) has the greatest influence on the ability to cool the air after the condenser.
