Abstract

In this paper introduces establishing systemic formulas to design basic skirt block and body block by the method 2D from draft patterns which are draped on the mannequin. Researching use the 3D inverse design method to make a Vietnamese women’s basic block. Next, practicing linear regression analysis by SPPSS software to make correlative functions for every designing dimensions. These systemic formulas will test by designing patterns on the base of using the 2D method with measurements on the mannequin and the human body. The result is a systemic formulas table for designing Vietnamese female’s basic skirt and bodice block that which will are used for method 2D.  This study has scientifically and applied teaching, production practices as a premise to supporting contents on research making systemic formulas of basic blocks for many kinds of garments and customers.
