Trong kỷ nguyên giáo dục 5.0, trí tuệ nhân tạo (AI) trở nên phổ biến và việc vận dụng chúng vào giáo dục đã đạt được những hiệu quả nhất định. Ngoài ra, chúng cũng mang lại nhiều lợi ích như việc cá nhân hóa học tập hay thúc đẩy sự tham gia học tập người học. Bên cạnh đó, nhiều thách thức được đặt ra về mặt đạo đức trong việc sử dụng trí tuệ nhân tạo. Người dùng AI trong giáo dục cần phải tuân thủ những nguyên tắc đạo đức nhằm đảm bảo tính minh bạch, sự công bằng và bảo vệ quyền riêng tư của người học. Khác với nền giáo dục 4.0, khi chỉ chú trọng về công nghệ, giáo dục 5.0 đã có bước chuyển mình, chú trọng hơn vào yếu tố con người, tính nhân văn trong giáo dục, đạo đức trở thành yếu tố thiết yếu hơn bao giờ hết khi lấy con người làm trung tâm. Do đó, việc đảm bảo AI được sử dụng một cách có tinh thần trách nhiệm và không gây hại cho người sử dụng và người chịu ảnh hưởng là điều cần thiết. Ngoài ra, bài nghiên cứu còn đề cập những thứ mà một người công dân số cần có để có thể thích ứng với nền giáo dục 5.0. Đây cũng là phần quan trọng trong việc xây dựng một môi trường học tập, phát triển an toàn và hiệu quả.
