Building of transformer station model for practicing in power transmission

Abstract

Training operation engineers in transmission stations or switchgear substation is a pressing task. The new engineers are usually not confident enough to write manipulation notes or build steps for changing operation structure of transformer stations. This paper presents the building of transformer station model in physical modules for practicing and simulating transformer station (bus bars, circuit breakers, disconnected switches...) in training schools at low price. In addition, the model also has a monitoring system of sequence of manipulations and indicates the mistake positions of students who are trained.
